we have been short listed as a regional finalist

Wow a big thank you to all our couples who took the time to vote for us in the wedding industry awards 2014. I am overwhelmed to say that thanks to you we have been short listed as a regional finalist, one of only five who made it through. It goes without saying that all of us at LZ are ecstatic to have made it to the second round. As our first foray into competition maybe it’s just beginners luck, but we hope not. Linda & Amy our co-ordinators who patiently contacted qualifying couples now have their fingers crossed to see whether we can make it one step further. Call me a cynic but I presume they are just as excited about  having an excuse to buy a new pair of shoes should we make it to London!

SO WHAT HAPPENS NOW

The judges are now deliberating over our testimonials and company ethos along with your reviews to see who should be crowned overall regional winner. These will be announced mid-November. All regional winners will automatically become national finalists and head to London where the overall winner will be announced live on stage at a prestigious awards dinner.

We shout about being a regional finalist and wait patiently for further news. It goes without saying that we will update the blog and keep you informed of future developments.

 

POST SCRIPT UPDATE – 18/11/13

HOORAY! We have just received word from the judging panel that we have been crowned regional winners and will be attending the national gala dinner on 15th January 2014 at The Bloomsbury Ballroom in London.  As predicted Amy & Linda are already discussing dates for a shopping trip to choose new footwear!
