Lemon Zest pops up

Not one to shy away from trying new things, we have decided to service a pop up café just in time for Christmas.

It all started with a chance meeting on the school run. Director Natasha was chatting to Ingrid Hodges from Claydon Christmas Tree Farm, who had been looking for ways to increase the catering choices offered to her customers. The problem was she had her hands full with sourcing premium quality trees and stocking the gift shop with Gisela Graham’s finest decorations. So, a plan was hatched for Lemon Zest to take over the reins and come up with foodie ways to enhance the experience of choosing your perfect tree.

The girls back at HQ were briefed and got to work on theming the area to be ‘popped up’. I do not want to give too much away but suppose the overall theme could be described as festive shabby chic. To compliment the décor there will be seasonal sweet treats, mulled wine, pulled pork rolls (served at the weekends only) as well as your usual coffee shop favourites.

The Christmas tree farm opens its (barn) doors on Saturday 26th November, then runs until Thursday 22nd December. So please ‘pop’ along and see us, as well as Dasher, Dancer, Comet, Vixen & Cupid the resident reindeer’s and a jolly bearded man in his grotto.
