glad to hear we could help

With the hospitality industry being sideswiped by Covid 19 we have the prospect of twiddling our thumbs for the next few months. So, I have been looking at how we could use this time proactively whilst helping our local community. The Brackley Food Bank suddenly sprang to mind so I made contact to offer our services and was glad to hear we could help.

Due to the overwhelming support from public donations, storage was fast becoming an issue due to the limited space available at the church. Lemon Zest to the rescue, we agreed to accept, sort and store donations at our industrial premises until they were required by the food bank. We now drive the requested items up to the church once a week to be packed and delivered by co-coordinator Alan and his ever cheerful team of volunteers.

As caterers food is at the heart of what we do and I am are proud to play a small part in this vital service.
